At Knuth Hinge Company, our specialty is quick turn prototype latches and small production runs. Knuth latches may be purchased in custom sizes and configurations and with specialty treatments such as powder coating, anodizing, and electropolishing.

We understand that in most cases our product is part of a final product and late latch deliveries slow down the entire manufacturing process. All Knuth latches are American made: when you place an order with us you are guaranteed your order will ship on the date we commit to.

In addition, when you purchase industrial latches with a blanket PO, you are assured that the pricing and delivery date(s) will not change–regardless of raw material price increases or product unavailability.

Single Bolt Latches & Keepers

Components (with or without keepers) are available in a variety of materials and finishes, such as:

• ● Anodized aluminum alloy or stainless steel housings
• ● Zinc-plated steel or stainless steel handle and pin
• ● Stainless steel springs

Pin diameter (.250, .281 or .312), pin extension and pin nose styles can be specified. We produce single bolt latches with or without mounting holes, and for either right-hand or left-hand applications.

Double Bolt Latches

We manufacture our latch components in a variety of materials and finishes, such as:

• ● Anodized aluminum alloy housing and keeper
• ● Zinc-plated steel or stainless steel handle and pin

Steel with an anti-rust solution for short term protection prior to welding or plating is also available.

As with our single bolt latches, you can specify pin diameter (.250, .281 or .312), pin extension and pin nose style. We can produce custom latches with or without mounting holes, as a complete assembly, housing only or keeper only.

Cane Bolt Latch & Heavy Duty Cane Bolt Latch

Unless specified otherwise, our basic cane bolt latch spring is produced with music wire and our heavy duty cane bolt latch spring is produced with stainless steel. We offer latches for purchase in materials and finishes such as:

• ● Anodized aluminum alloy
• ● Zinc plated steel
• ● Oil coated steel

Knuth cane bolt latches are reliable, low cost devices used for easy access and secure closure, primarily on hinged doors and inspection panels and are available in a variety of gauges, pin diameters and lengths.

These latches may be purchased with specialty treatments and coatings such as powder coating, anodizing and electropolishing.

Custom sizes and configurations are available on request.
